This form reaches the publication. The most useful message it receives is a correction: a page here that has misread a document, misquoted a figure or gone out of date against its source.
What helps
For a correction, naming three things makes it possible to check the same day: the page, the sentence, and the document the sentence should have followed. A link to the primary source beats a description of it.
For a source, the same applies in reverse. Trials, systematic reviews, regulatory documents and safety communications that bear on anything in the register are worth sending, including — particularly — ones that cut against what a page here currently says.
Messages about a treatment you are considering or a problem you are having cannot be answered. Nobody here is a clinician, and a question about your own body needs someone who can examine you. If something has gone wrong, the official channels and what each of them can act on are set out at where to report.
